Lake Hood Inn is a very special bed and breakfast! We offer a lake front location that is not duplicated in Anchorage. Alaskan bush planes are so unique and interesting that they are a major attraction in and of themselves. So many of our guests linger for hours on their private or the common decks fully immersed the view and the activities. Guests often hesitate in leaving for, and are anxious to return from their day’s activities in Anchorage. We were newly constructed to commercial codes in 2002. Fully inspected and approved.
We have only four guest rooms. Two rooms are Lakefront. They have large windows and a sliding glass door to private decks with table and chairs and even headsets so that you can tap into the pilot/tower talk. While the other two rooms do not have the same room-views they do have common areas and a shared deck available to enjoy the lake view complete with tables, chairs and yes, headsets. Our rooms are all about 226 sq. ft. They including a private bathroom with oversized shower and hair dryer. We have king beds that can be converted to two twin beds. Local television, small refrigerator, coffee, tea, internet, closet, desk, table and chairs, luggage racks, radios with usb charging stations, ceiling fans, and a document safe are some of the room amenities. We also have a shared full kitchen and washer/dryer for guest convenience. Each room enters privately from a common area. Come and go at your convince. Relax and enjoy! Even take a walk around the lake (4.2m).
