Alaska Chalet Bed & Breakfast is located 13 scenic miles north of downtown Anchorage in the beautiful Eagle River Valley. It is tucked away between Birch and Spruce in a secluded cul-de-sac near downtown Eagle River. Enjoy the quiet, natural setting and mountain views from the deck surrounding the home. We provide a generous ‘Welcome Basket’ containing Continental breakfast items to help our self-hosted guests get started. 

Plan to stay with us a few days and take rewarding day trips from Portage Glacier/Whittier to land-locked Matanuska Glacier and see all the interesting and exciting sites in between.

Take a flightseeing trip from Talkeetna to enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Denali and land on a glacier, or take a glacier cruise from Whittier or a sea life cruise from Seward through the Kenai Fjords.
