Looking for a leisurely drive by the Turnagain Arm with a marvelous dinner as your destination? Make a date to go to the Double Musky Inn in Girdwood and enjoy the waterside drive. If you allow for an hour’s drive, you will have the opportunity to pull off the highway to look for beluga whales or watch the sunset for a bit. The Double Musky is roughly 40 miles south and you can’t get lost with only one road heading that way!
The Double Musky Inn claims to be a Cajun restaurant, and yet it has a decidedly Alaskan bent. Better get your appetite up – the portions are generous, and the French pepper steak, halibut, and dessert menu are among our favorites. The wine cellar will please most palates. Check their website for more menu items and the history which traces back to the 1960s!
Then head home for a good rest at your AABBA Bed & Breakfast location. You will be dreaming of the Double Musky, for certain!
